Below is a list of our church groups. For more information about any activities at St John’s please contact us.

Housegroups

Weekday afternoons and evenings

Housegroups are groups of up to 10 people who meet during the week to share fellowship and faith. There is a time of studying the Bible, a time of prayer and a time to chat over refreshments – each important in their own way. Meeting together like this is perhaps the best way for people in the church to get to know and trust each other.
Housegroups usually meet on a Tuesday, a Wednesday or a Thursday. One meets in the afternoon; the others meet in the evening.

The Circle

Wednesdays, 2.30pm

The Circle meets in the lounge area at the back of the church. There is a talk for around half an hour on almost any topic, from Christian living to Norfolk humour! After some prayers and songs, there are refreshments and a chat. The group is a chance for people who are free during the day to meet together.

Brownies and Guides

Monday evenings (during term)

Brownies and Guides hold meetings in the lounge area at the back of the church. New members are always welcome.

Musical Coffee Mornings

Wednesdays, 10.30am, once a month

A good number turn out to hear guest musicians and singers perform. Admission is free and refreshments are available. Musical Coffee Mornings  are held once a month between April and November.  Various local musicians give their time and talents to entertain us for an hour.  Refreshments are provided and donations invited for charitable causes. Pictured are the Windmill Handbell Ringers who play popular pieces with their unique expertise, very much enjoyed.

Prayer Meetings

Monday 10am / Wednesday 12pm

A group meets at each of these times in the lounge area to pray for people we know and for the world around us.

We also have particular committees to look after the church building, the church finances, our support of mission and our life of worship together.
